Ever since I can remember I have always had a passion for the water, which is I chose to become a Swim Instructor at the age of 15, and a Lifeguard at 16. I believe that teaching swimming lessons is what helped guide me to make the decision of choosing to become a teacher. Throughout my four years of high school, I taught swimming lessons several days a week. When I moved to Regina in September 2019 for university, I decided that I wanted to continue sharing my love of the water and safety to others by taking a job with K&K Swim School. While I am a full-time student, I also teach swimming lessons too! By being a Swim Instructor, I have been able to learn skills which are crucial for a teacher to have such as patience, communication, enthusiasm, respect, and time management. My favourite part about teaching lessons is seeing the growth and improvement that comes from each of my students with every lesson.
